Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) is the largest technological
university in Lithuania and in the Baltic states. The Institute of
Educational Studies at KTU offers degree programs in the field of
education on three levels: Bachelor™s (Social Education), Master™s
(Educational Management, Higher Education, Educational Technologies,
Social Education and Professional Education) and a Doctoral study
program in educational science. In addition, a study program for pedagogical
training of teachers is proposed. The Library of KTU is one of the
largest in Lithuania. It stores and continuously replenishes one of
the richest collections of books and periodicals on science, engineering,
technologies and social sciences in Lithuanian and foreign languages.
The Library provides access to e-resources. The Institute of Educational
Studies and the University Library are active in national and European
projects.
