The Austrian information unit on
education and educational research is unit I/6b of the
„Bundesministerium für Bildung, Wissenschaft und Kultur„ (BMBWK), the
Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Culture. The unit
is responsible for information and documentation in the field of
education. Among its responsibilities are yearly reports on
developments in national educational research.
Among online information services provided by the BMBWK are:
Bildungsforschung in Österreich, an annually updated database on
educational research in Austria from which an annual printed
bibliography is produced;
the Austrian contribution to EURYBASE, information on the Austrian
education system, and contributions to publications and databases on
education in Europe.
